Victoria and Kenny were married on a bluff overlooking the Tennessee River. They wanted their event to be fun, meaningful, and have the feeling of a country wedding. After their bluff side ceremony, guests were treated to a fun cocktail hour, and could watch the sun set over the river. Everyone then moved to the dinner tables set under the oaks, hung with candlelit chandeliers. Fried chicken, short ribs, macaroni and cheese, greens, and more were all served family style.

.

We added to their country vintage feeling by using yellow school buses to bring all guests up the mountain, old church pews for the ceremony, picnic blankets spread on the bluff for cocktail hour, mason jars filled with flowers, and vintage dishes and linens for the seated dinner. It was a perfect night, ending with all guests dancing the night away in the barn, and feasting on cake and pies homemade by the bride’s family.
