Last summer, we had the pleasure of working with Grace & her mom, Karen, to create Grace’s dream Southern garden wedding. We can finally share these images with you as it was just featured on The Knot.
Karen is the Vice President of Fundraising at the Birmingham Zoo & Grace was finishing college, while Harry was graduating and moving to DC, so they knew that full wedding planning & design was the way for them to go. Karen is well-versed in events from her career but knew she would need help in executing her daughter’s wedding day. A real treat of the whole process was working with Karen’s brother Phil from Thibodeaux’s Floral Studio in New Orleans to create the design and overall look. It was a real family affair!
I think the whole wedding was so Harry & Grace: timeless, elegant, and classic with a twist of fun. My favorite detail was all of the paper products we helped create for them. It is one of my favorite ways to personalize a wedding. And I have to admit, Harry cutting their wedding cake with a sword that has been in their family for generations was pretty darn cool too. Cheers to Grace & Harry!
