Emily & Joe were another COVID couple that had to endure a wedding reschedule, which is no easy feat when one of you works as an emergency room nurse and the other works for the railroad. Emily handled it all very calmly and with such grace.

We were so excited about the design for this wedding! We work at The Barn at Shady Lane often, and we wanted to change it up from our normal set-up & layout. Luckily, Emily was game and let us run with our ideas. We worked together with Emily on the design, sourcing all the visual elements and rentals to pull the look together, and helping to keep her on track with planning & logistics. When COVID hit, she and Joe were one of our first couples to reschedule, but we found a new weekend that worked for both of their work schedules. We immediately hopped on getting her vendors on board for her new date.

Emily had recently lost her mother. Incorporating her mom into the day was important to Emily, which she did in such a sweet way with a letter. I know her mom was smiling down on her all day.

Emily and Joe are a fun couple, so we were not short on a good time at this reception! From getting ready to the end of the night, their wedding party had us cracking up all day.

Thank you Emily and Joe for trusting our team with your wedding, rescheduling, and then new wedding date!
