Planning Ellie and Shawn’s wedding was extra special for me as she is the little sister of one of my dearest friends. Ellie & Shawn are truly a special couple–giving of themselves to so many others all the time in the respective careers. I wanted to be sure their wedding was a true celebration of these two sweet souls. Having a destination wedding was important to Ellie & Shawn as they wanted their wedding weekend to be a true experience for all. St. Simon Island, Georgia was the perfect spot as it was only 1.5 hours from their home & easy to travel to for their other guests. A weekend filled with beach activities, family dinners, welcome barbecue, and guests enjoying the amenities of the King & Prince resort all lead up to wedding day. It was truly beautiful weather and such a gorgeous day. The soft palate of lavenders, greys, and subtle pinks worked so well for this March wedding. It was a fun and special day for me as this family is so dear to me as well as my mom, and a few friends came on the road trip to help with the day! The crowd danced all night, with the ocean view in the background for a picturesque setting! Elie & Shawn, I adore you two so much & am so excited to see you move into this new phase of life. Thank you for trusting me with your wedding day!
