Have you seen a bride with a better smile than Elaine? Almost every photo I chose, I was drawn to Elaine’s smile in them. Elaine & Tri chose to host their wedding weekend at Pursell Farms. They were welcoming guests from all over the country and wanted to be able to create an entire weekend experience for them. Elaine & Tri met in med school, Tri is from Alabama & Elaine from Massachusetts. This wedding was about their families & cultures coming together in the most beautiful way. One of my favorite design details was the paper suite Elaine created. I just adore that crest! We had their Hindu & Christian ceremony in the same day which made for a long day but I must say all of their friends & family had the best attitude about it & were just so thrilled to celebrate these people they love. I was so honored to learn about their cultures, religions, & customs. The Hindu ceremony was so incredibly beautiful with all of the music, colors, joy, & prayer ceremonies. I loved the barrat & all the dancing! Following the Hindu ceremony, guests were served traditional Indian food for lunch while we took our bride & groom for photos. After a quick hair, makeup & dress change, we took the couple up to Secret Place at Pursell Farms for portraits on the mountain. Their wedding party joined them for photos & then it was ceremony time. Sammy, their dog, served as the cutest ring bearer. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio, and then we had guests seated for dinner. Tri & Elaine had a beautiful first dance—I was impressed with their dancing skills! One of my other favorite parts of the reception was the toasts given by their childhood friends & parents. It is always so nice to hear from the people closest to our clients how they feel about them. We ended the night with late-night snacks, dancing & sparklers. It was a weekend of old friends & family getting together, getting to know each other, and celebrate this union.
