One of our first weddings back from quarantine in July was Brooke & Trevor’s. We rescheduled their wedding twice, so they had three wedding dates total. It was a lot of moving parts, patience, rescheduling, and playing schedule puzzles with all of their vendors, but we finally got them married and celebrated on July 4th. Turns out, that date was the first time they met 10 years ago!
We went from a very Spring color palette to something a little moodier to reflect the new season. I loved these colors from Carol with Lillie Jane. Their wedding day was a true downtown Birmingham, classic vibe with getting ready at the Redmont Hotel, pictures at Railroad Park, and the ceremony & reception at B&A Warehouse.
It was a really emotional day, not only being so happy for our clients but also feeling like we were returning to some sense of normal after months of work being, honestly, very stressful and strange. We are still adjusting to the new normal of events with masks, food service, and gathering policies, but B&A did an incredible job with safe food & bar service and ensuring we were keeping everyone as safe as possible.
Ultimately, this couple was able to celebrate with their friends and family, and after 10 years together, become husband & wife. We are grateful to all of our vendor partners for making their day such a special one.
